Jose Chess has 2D and 3D game modes, which you can play in full screen mode if you like. If you’re feeling competitive, the program has a high score list that will make you want to improve your game so you can top the list someday.
Jose Chess also has an integrated timer with time control to keep you on your toes and to train you to think quickly and act decisively. You’ll have a competitive advantage over anyone you play against. Plus, it has a record of past moves, so you can look back and evaluate where you played well and where you could have done better, and what you should have done instead.
While Jose Chess is a very complete free chess game, it does not currently offer an online play option, so for the moment you can only play against the computer, not against other human players.
